Senior Advisor, DNPAO, CDC

Ken Rose is a Senior Advisor in CDC’s DNPAO’s Physical Activity and Health Branch and serves as an expert in strategies to promote active living environments through CDC programs.  He helps coordinate Active People, Healthy Nation, Creating an Active America, Together and works with a wide range of national partners to help implement this initiative.  He has also been a key contributor to CDC’s Transportation and Health Recommendations and the Surgeon General’s Call to Action to promote Walking and Walkable Communities and before joining DNPAO, served as the Associate Director of Policy for CDC’s environmental health programs.
